EDUCATION
AN ESCALATING EMERGENCY FOR CHILDREN
Despite unprecedented economic growth, the Philippines has one of the highest poverty rates in the region. Even before COVID-19, the country faced an educational crisis, which has now erupted into an emergency as 22 million students are out of school.
Contributing to poverty factors mean that families simply cannot afford to keep children in school, which is having a disastrous impact. Adolescents who drop out of school are 4x more likely to engage in criminal activities and become victims of abuse and online exploitation.

Keeping children in education is vital to ensure they can be protected and kept safe from abuse.
OUR SOLUTION
FundLife supports the most vulnerable, marginalised and at-risk children and youth by providing play-based curriculums and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) for schools and communities.

Working in direct collaboration with the Ministry of Education and communities, FundLife creates purposeful play programming that sparks a love for learning, betterment and growth in children.

Our innovative SEL educational curriculum instils confidence, persistence and belief in children, their teachers and the wider community. Through this approach, we are able to ensure children are safe and in education - the most critical step in ensuring every single child is protected and receives a quality education.
